Even sport dresses in Pink

Overwhelming, charming, tough…but mainly Pink.

Girls, what are you thinking about? I’m talking about the most important sporting event in Italy, Giro d’Italia. On May 5th, it started from Alghero and after three weeks, is going to finish in the fashion capital, Milan, where the chronometer will proclaim the winner of the so called Maglia Rosa (Pink Shirt).

But Giro d’Italia, that this year turns 100, is not only about cycling. Trofeo Senza Fine (Endless Trophy) will be held by the winner and this is art, Maglia Rosa is fashion. And for the second time in a row, the patroness is Giorgia Palmas that thanks to her beauty gives the Pink Race a note of glamour. The showgirl from Cagliari, perfect and stylish, chose a total pink look – of course! – by Elisabetta Franchi.

Impossible to contradict her! Pink is the trendiest color of Spring-Summer 2017, and Pantone determined “Pale Dogwood” and “Pink Yarrow” the most fashionable nuances of the season, from the prêt-à-porter arises an unlimited palette in which each pink shade is enhanced.

So girls, let’s think pink!

And as regards the outfit the rule is just one: TO DARE.

Flame and Primrose Yellow – Two colors included in the Pantone Top Ten 2017. The first one is an intense oranged red used a lot on the catwalk especially by Valentino, the second one is a shining yellow that, mixed with pink, creates an almost tropical mood.

Red – Here few ideas to create a super cool mix. On the beach: red swimsuit (even embroidered) and candy pink shirt. Purple jacket and raspberry color pants in the morning and red leather jacket with a fuchsia dress (even better if laminated) in the evening. Matching red + pink is perfect also for the accessories. Have fun with different moods and be inspired!
